A Câmara dos Deputados analisa o Projeto de Lei 267/11, da deputada Cida Borghetti (PP-PR), que estabelece punições para estudantes que desrespeitarem professores ou violarem regras éticas e de comportamento de instituições de ensino.
Em caso de descumprimento, o estudante infrator ficará sujeito a suspensão e, na hipótese de reincidência grave, encaminhamento à autoridade judiciária competente.
A proposta muda o Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (Lei 8.069/90) para incluir o respeito aos códigos de ética e de conduta como responsabilidade e dever da criança e do adolescente na condição de estudante.
Indisciplina
De acordo com a autora, a indisciplina em sala de aula tornou-se algo rotineiro nas escolas brasileiras e o número de casos de violência contra professores aumenta assustadoramente. Ela diz que, além dos episódios de violência física contra os educadores, há casos de agressões verbais, que, em muitos casos, acabam sem punição.
O projeto, que tramita em caráter conclusivo, será analisado pelas comissões de Seguridade Social e Família; de Educação e Cultura; e de Constituição e Justiça e de Cidadania.
